Guidelines
Contributors/Authors are encouraged to read the Journal’s Editorial Guidelines before making any submissions
The manuscript files should be submitted electronically in any of the following formats (.doc) or (.docx) and should not be protected or locked.
Manuscripts should be between 4,000 and 10,000 words including the abstract, figures and footnotes but this limitation is exclusive of references.
Manuscripts should be organized as follows:
• Begin with a title and author(s) whose affiliations should be footnoted on the first page.
• A brief abstract of between 150 and 300 words. There should be no citations within the abstract
• Introduction
• Discussion section – ensure that works of others are properly cited both in the footnote and reference sections.
• Conclusion. There should be no citations within the conclusion.
• Reference list should begin on a separate page at the end.
manuscripts should be submitted in Times New Roman, font size 12 with the exception of the footnotes which should be in font size 10.
left margin – 1”, right margin – 1”, top margin – 1” and bottom margin – 1”.
Manuscripts should be justified with a line spacing of 1.5” for main text and single spacing for footnotes.
manuscripts should limit headings to a maximum of three (3) heading levels. Use conventional numbering and avoid bulleted lists.
Page numbers should be avoided.
Referencing should follow OSCOLA 4th edition
• Ensure that all footnotes are closed with a full stop.
• In the footnotes, the author’s first name should precede their surname while in the references list the surname should come first followed by the initial of their first name.
• Arrange the reference list alphabetically using the author’s surname.
Ensure that abbreviations are defined upon first appearance on text. Keep abbreviations to a minimum.
Do not insert any headers or footers.
All submissions should be made in English.
All manuscripts must be revised carefully before submissions for grammatical and typographical errors.
Plagiarism, including duplicate submissions, in whole or in part without proper citation is not tolerated by this journal. All manuscripts submitted will be checked against anti-plagiarism software. If plagiarism is detected at any stage of the publication process, the author will be alerted and based on the plagiarism percentile, the author may either be required to revise their submission or the manuscript may be rejected in its entirety. The authors are expected to accompany their submissions with a statement that the material is not under consideration elsewhere, and that it has not been published or is not pending publication elsewhere.
